MANUEL-TURIZO
Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The Latin Pop mainstream has been impacted by his globular popularity. In 2017, his 2016 hit Una Lady Como Tu won the Colombian Kids Choice Award Favorite Song. The album he released as his debut ADN was issued by La Industria Inc., located in Medellin, a Sony distribution firm. The album reached the top of the charts at number eight in the Top Latin Albums charts. In the following year, he teamed up with Ozuna to record Vaina Loca and it was it was a Top Five hit. He collaborated on a track with Noriel on Mala Influencia in 2020 and later that year, came out with his second album, the charting Dopamina. Later in 2021 he performed a duet on TINI's streaming popular track Maldita Foto. The smash hit La Bachata from 2000 was released in 2023. His mother and brother were both musicians when they were born. He's said in interviews that music is compulsory. Growing up, he taught to play the saxophone, piano as well as guitar. When his original career plan was a career as a vet the brother Julian convinced him to take singing lessons with a Cuban instructor and as a consequence of discovering the talent as a singer altered the course of his life.
