She became septic, suffered organ failure including kidneys that did not recover. The new norm was the peritoneal, and later hemolysis. After spending 80 consecutive days in hospital, she went from being close to death, and then a lengthy recuperation journey. Angelica had completed a half-year of dialysis, and one year half-year of dialysis, was now set to undergo the biggest surgery ever - a kidney replacement. Her mother was the one who donated her kidney. Angelica and mom had an operation that was successful on the 13th of September, 2013 at Emory University Hospital and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston, two hospitals that are located next to one. Angelica Hale has been pursuing her dreams of being a star ever since.
